U.S. says it will cut costs for

clean energy projects on public lands


The Biden administration on Tuesday said it would substantially reduce the cost of building wind and solar energy projects on federal lands to help spur renewable energy development and address climate change.

Power demand in Texas reached the highest level ever recorded in the month of May on Tuesday and will likely break the record for June on Wednesday as economic growth boosts overall usage and hot weather causes homes and businesses to crank up their air conditioners.

Clean School Bus Program Funding

With funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, EPA’s new Clean School Bus Program provides $5 billion over the next five years (FY 2022-2026) to replace existing school buses with zero-emission and low-emission models. EPA is offering $500 million through the 2022 Clean School Bus Rebates for zero-emission and low-emission school bus rebates as the first funding opportunity. EPA will continue to update this page with additional Clean School Bus Program funding information and educational resources.
